PTFE PRODUCTS
1.
PTFE CUT GASKETS
Virgin PTFE Gaskets are made from 100% pure material which is used in most general applications. It is extremely soft and formable and is often used for chemical resistant seals and gaskets.
There are generally three types: metallic, non-metallic and composite. The non-metallic, also known as a soft one, are usually made of graphite, rubber, Teflon and compressed non-asbestos fiber.
2.
PTFE PACKINGS
Manufacturers of lose pickings are often asked to simply supply “A PTFE packing.” It is typically used in adjustable gland applications such as telescoping truck hoists, pumps and valves. A clear understanding of the differences between the various forms of PTFE lose packing will enable a selection of reliable sealing for the pump or valve.
3.
GRAPHITE PTFE
Graphitized Teflon / PTFE Graphite Packing. This combination gives the packing great sealing properties that other products cannot offer: compressible, durable, self-lubricating, chemical resistant and heat dissipating. Teflon Graphite packing, also known as PTFE Graphite Packing, GFO Packing.
4.
PTFE WITH ARAMID FIBRE
PTFE Aramid is a super combination Cross Braided Packing specially designed with lubricated pure PTFE on the faces and special yellow synthetic fibrefilaments on the corners. The packing will not provide extraneous stresses on plungers which damage both packing and plunger under high pressure conditions.
5.
PURE ARAMID PACKING
The high strength and rigidity of the Aramid fibre make the packing well suited for high pressure sealing applications. Moreover, the packing is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and has a very low rate of thermal expansion making them suitable for high-temperature applications. These packings are widely used in pumps handling abrasive media.
6.
Combiflex Packing - Yellow(Aramid) Black(Graphite PTFE)
Combination Packing With Aramid & Expanded PTFE Graphite fiber yarns at the Faces is ideal for services where chemical resistance, high strength & sliding properties are essential. The special Aramid fibers at the corners enhance pressure & extrusion resistance of the packing even in reciprocating equipment. The PTFE Graphite Yarns at the faces facilitates low friction for shafts due to due to its inherent characteristic of heat dissipation.
